Our Team

The team is composed of basic science researchers, molecular geneticist, clinician-scientists, social science researcher, CF nurse and research trainees & associates. Associated members include CF clinicians and members of the pharmaceutical industry. Research interests include: fundamental research on the molecular basis of cystic fibrosis, ion transport and neuropeptides involved in fluid secretion. It extends to CF associated comorbidities such as diabetes, inflammation and infection. Beyond the basic science research, our team members are involved in patient-oriented clinical research and translational studies involving collaborations with industrial partners for pre-clinical studies.
